Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi as at the poll bound Madhya Pradesh and said PM Modi wears suits worth lakhs of rupees but he wears this white T shirt only. He was addressing a rally at Satna. Gandhi said he had heard PM Modi\u2019s speech in which he used to say that he belonged to the OBC community. Gandhi said PM Modi became the prime minister by saying this repeatedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gandhi added PM Modi wears 1-2 suits worth lakhs of rupees. He said nobody has seen PM Modi repeating his clothes. He compared PM Modi\u2019s clothes to himself and said he wore this single white shirt. Gandhi said PM Modi had stopped using the word caste from his speeches since the day Rahul Gandhi had started talking about the caste census. He said PM Modi has started saying there is no caste in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gandhi promised that the first step the Congress party will take after getting elected in Madhya Pradesh is to conduct a caste based census. He said till the time the caste census is not conducted the backward classes will not be able to contribute to the growth and development of the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gandhi recollected an incident during the campaigning in Chattisgarh when he asked the farmers about the rate of their land. He was surprised to find out that the farmers did not know the rate of their own land. He accused the BJP government of collecting GST from the poor people and handing them over to the big business houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gandhi said big industrialists do not provide employment opportunities. But it is the small traders who run small and medium businesses, who are into small and medium scale manufacturing, who run shops are responsible for providing employment.
