In a major cabinet reshuffle, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak sacked home secretary Suella Braverman. The Prime Minister\u2019s move follows after Suella Braverman criticized the police\u2019s handling of a pro-Palestine march. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Being under fire from the opposition lawmakers and members of his own governing Conservative Party to eject Braverman, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak moved against his home secretary, asking her to leave the government. Reports said that Suella Braverman has accepted the move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previous week, Suella Braverman defied Sunak by publishing an article accusing the police of adopting double standards in its treatment of protests – an argument opposition Labour said inflamed tensions at a pro-Palestinian demonstration on Saturday. After her dismissal, Suella Braverman said that it has been the greatest privilege of her life to serve as home secretary and that she will have more to say in due course. James Cleverly has now been appointed as the home secretary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Former UK Prime Minister David Cameron made a surprise return to frontline politics after PM Rishi Sunak appointed him foreign secretary in a government reshuffle. David Cameron served as the UK Prime Minister from 2010 to 2016. Cameron quitted after losing the Brexit referendum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the decision, the former Prime Minister said that he gladly accepted the role as Britain faced a daunting set of international challenges. He added that while he has been out of front-line politics for the last seven years,he hopes that his experience as Conservative leader for 11 years and prime minister for six years will assist him in helping the prime minister to meet these vital challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
