Nana Patekar has issued an apology for the viral video which has faced strong criticism from social media users. In the video the veteran actor was seen slapping a boy who had come on the sets in between the shoot for a selfie. As soon the boy reached closer to the actor and tried to take a photo, Patekar slapped him and got him removed by a crew member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today Nana Patekar released a video on Instagram where he issued an apology for the viral video. The actor said he was not aware the boy was an outsider and not a part of the film set. The veteran actor added as per the script he was supposed to slap a boy from the crew. After the incident happened he learned the boy wasn\u2019t part of the crew. Patekar called the incident as a misunderstanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
