Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav took an indirect dig at the Bhartiya Janata Party and said Team India would have won the World Cup if the match had been played in Lucknow instead of Ahmedabad. He was addressing a public meeting in Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh. He said if the match had been played in Lucknow the Indian team team would have got the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Samajwadi party government has named the cricket stadium in Lucknow as Ekana stadium. Ekana is one of the many names of Lord Vishnu. The Yogi Adityanath government had renamed it as Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana cricket stadium to honour the former prime minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yadav said there were some issues with the pitch of Ahmedabad\u2019s Narendra Modi stadium due to which the preparation of the Indian team was incomplete. In another incident earlier Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a dig at PM Modi and called him a panauti. He said Modi\u2019s entry at the venue made India lose the 2023 World Cup final match against Australia<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gandhi was addressing a poll rally in Rajasthan\u2019s jalore when he took a dig at PM Modi. He said Ache Bhale Hamare ladke waha pe match jeet jaate, par panauti harwa diya. Gandhi slammed PM Modi for claiming to represent the other Backward classes (OBC\u2019s) in his older speeches. He said PM Modi had done nothing for their development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
