The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation\u2019s Blue Line train services will be briefly hit from Saturday night till Sunday morning owing to maintenance work between Karol Bagh and Rajiv Chowk stations, the officials said on Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s Blue Line connects Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida Electronic City\/Vaishali. An official from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said that in order to undertake the scheduled maintenance work between Karol Bagh and Rajiv Chowk sections of the Blue Line on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, the train services on this line will be briefly regulated early Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official added that train services will not be available from Karol Bagh to Rajiv Chowk section till 6 am from the routine start time of revenue services in this section. Therefore, Jhandewalan and Rama Krishna Ashram Marg metro stations, falling in this section, will remain closed till 6 am. Services on this section or stations will commence from 6 am, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official further said the services on either side of this maintenance section of the Blue Line from Dwarka Sector-21 to Karol Bagh and Rajiv Chowk to Noida Electronic City\/Vaishali will continue to remain available according to the weekday time table during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports said that a day ago there were minor delays in the operation of metro train services on the Blue and Pink Line. Reportedly, there were 15-20 minutes of delays in the operation of metro trains on these aforesaid routes. Later, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had issued a statement confirming delay in the operation of Pink Line Metro on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier on November 8, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) was informed that there will be a delay in the Pink Line service from Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus to Lajpat Nagar.
