The claims made against Governor Khan are related to an alleged event in which members of the ruling CPI(M) student wing, the Students Federation of India (SFI), allegedly hit his vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident has sparked a political firestorm in the state and happened while the governor was travelling to the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to go for New Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to the media, Governor Khan claimed that Chief Minister Vijayan was involved in a coordinated attempt to harm him physically. Will the police permit anyone to approach the Chief Minister&#8217;s vehicle? The demonstrators&#8217; automobiles were parked here, and the cops shoved them inside, causing them to flee, Khan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is the Chief Minister, he repeated himself, who is plotting and sending these guys to physically harm him,&nbsp;Khan said. He also said the goondas have taken over the roads of Thiruvananthapuram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Governor Khan, who was clearly incensed by the supposed attack on his car, denounced both the event and the supposed erosion of democracy in Kerala. He emphasised that physical violence should not result from political disagreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Khan claimed that in addition to waving black flags at him, the protesting students also hit his car on both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He then exited his car. Why then did they flee? The police must have known because they were all seated in a car. He questioned, but what will the poor police do when the Chief Minister is commanding them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three locations saw protesters throw black flags towards Governor Khan, and in two of those locations, his car was struck by demonstrators, according to reports, which cited Raj Bhawan sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police said that at one specific spot, SFI activists obstructed Governor Khan&#8217;s car.
