On December 7, KCR fell at his Erravalli farmhouse and had undergone a total left hip replacement. An hour after BRS leaders in the Assembly chose him as Leader of the Opposition, the procedure was carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, there was also a video of KCR leaving the hospital which went viral. Up till he got to the commute vehicle, his supporters greeted him. There was a huge crowd gathered outside the hospital to see their former CM&#8217;s health condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The surgeons who performed the operation\u00a0declared the Friday&#8217;s operation successful. According to Yashoda Hospital, they expect the former chief minister to recuperate in six to eight weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 9, KCR began to walk a little after the procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, Rao received well wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister and State BJP President G Kishan Reddy,&nbsp; Andhra Pradesh&nbsp;Chief Minister&nbsp;Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with Minister Seethakka and former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Telangana&#8217;s newly appointed&nbsp;Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Rao at Yashoda Hospital on Sunday. Reddy revealed that he had given the chief secretary and other relevant officials orders to help and cooperate as needed so that KCR could receive treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, KCR emerged&nbsp;successful as the leader of the BRS Legislature Party and is poised to take the lead in Telangana&#8217;s opposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Congress overthrew the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in the just ended Telangana Assembly elections, preventing the party from winning a hat-trick in the state.
