Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday announced the new sports policy of his government and said Bihar athletes will directly get jobs if they win medals. He declared at the sports event jo medal layega who naukri payega. Yadav said unemployment is the enemy of the people. He said even the educated persons are not getting jobs. He said people have degrees but no jobs<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yadav added he had brought this policy to promote sports in the state of Bihar. He said 81 persons have been chosen for various officer level posts like Block Development Officer (BDO) and inspector. He said his government is not just giving jobs to the athletes but also also making them officers. He said the chosen athletes will soon get their joining letters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However Yadav added one must not neglect studies and should study hard to get a degree. He said he is a son of two former chief minsters. He said he could have managed a degree if he would have wanted, but he said he is an honest man. He said many people have fake degrees but he did not do that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yadav said people should not just focus on iphones and tablets but should go to the playground for physical games as well. He said being a sportman himself he knew that sports imparts discipline and unity. He said his government has recruited over one lakh teachers in one day to improve the quality of education in rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the government has decided to construct stadiums in all blocks and 221 stadiums have already been constructed while work on others was going on. He announced sports academy of international level, apart from cricket stadium and a sports university, was coming up in Rajgir at a cost of Rs 740 crore.
