He also said, the goal for the next 25 years has been set by the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will include a cutting-edge &#8216;Customs Clearance House&#8217; for import and export, a jewellery mall for the retail jewellery industry, and a building housing safe vaults and foreign banking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The structure, which is a component of Diamond Research and Mercantile (DREAM) City, was named the world&#8217;s largest office building by Guinness World Records in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The construction of the Surat Diamond Bourse was started in&nbsp;February 2015 and in 2022 the&nbsp;building was&nbsp;completed. Constructed at an approximate expense of Rs 3,500 crore, the 67 lakh square foot structure can accommodate around 4,500 offices for diamond dealing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Built on a 35.54-acre property, the megastructure features 15 stories in addition to nine ground towers with office space ranging from 300 to 1 lakh sq\u00a0ft. There is a central spine connecting the nine rectangular towers.
