Mitchell Starc has today scripted history as he was sold for the highest big ever paid for an IPL player. KKR has signed the Australian bowler at an astounding Rs 24.75 crore. Pat Cummins was sold to SRH for Rs 20.50 crore earlier in the day. This is the first time the Rs 20-crore threshold has ever been crossed at an IPl auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daryl Mitchell was sold to CSK for Rs 14 crore. PBKS signed Harshal Patel for a sum of Rs 11.75 crore. Three players have crossed the Rs. 10 crore threshold. CSK has selected Shardul Thakur for Rs 4 crore while Rachin Ravindra for Rs 1.80 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Travis Head was also sold to SRH, for a wopping price of Rs. 6.80 crore, while Rovman Powell for RR, Rs. 7.40 crore, and Harry Brook to DC, Rs. 4 crore. These players were the top picks in the first group of capped batters. The 10 teams have more than Rs 262 crore to spend on 77 players out of the 332 players in the pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
