Returning with another thrilling episode from the eighth season of the talk show Koffee With Karan is Karan Johar. This time, he was joined for an intriguing session by the dynamic combination and closest friends, actor Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rohit Shetty. The celebrities discussed the upcoming generation of actors and their approaches to failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, the hosts of Koffee With Karan, talked about how the industry used to be a close-knit community decades ago. At this point, the host requested them to offer their opinions on the contemporary Bollywood actors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rohit Shetty expressed his opinion, saying, there’s too much insecurity. He continued by saying youngsters look to strangers and social media for validation. They lack confidence greatly. Given that they were born into this generation, perhaps they have their own thing, he remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They unanimously agreed when KJo asked if they overthink things. I believe they overthink, Ajay remarked, adding that the artists’ jobs as solo actors are insecure. Ajay further said, they take three years to decide if they have to do this or that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both celebrities have experienced their fair share of highs and lows throughout their long careers. The Singham actor responded, when you’re working for so many years, then one film’s failure doesn’t mean he or she has failed, when asked how he handles failure. That method has not worked, and then eventually one has to move on, the Golmal actor said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The last film that Rohit Shetty produced and directed, Cirkus, was a box office failure. Shetty added, when a film doesn’t do well, it’s not a good feeling at all, explaining how he overcame that. He went on to say that legendary actor Anupam Kher visited his office after Cirkus failed to do well and gave him some really helpful recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
