Indian star all-rounder Hardik Pandya who recently replaced Rohit Sharma as Mumbai Indians\u2019s new captain is likely to give the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) a miss due to ankle injury. Pandya left the recently concluded ICC ODI Men\u2019s World Cup midway due to an ankle injury. According to reports he would not be able to participate in the upcoming T20I series against Afghanistan as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pandya, 30, made a comeback to Mumbai Indians team recently after a two year stint at Gujarat Titans and was named captain of the five-times champions. In his two year stint at Titans, Hardik scored a total of 833 runs in 30 innings, at an average of 41.65 and a strike rate of 133.49. He took a total of 11 wickets for Gujarat Titans at an economy rate of 8.1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
