The film after its release received a lot of positive reviews and tremendous response in India. Salaar has been directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie stars Prabhas, Prithviraj and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. The film on day 1 managed to cross Rs 178 crore worldwide and the film has made nearly Rs 250 crore at the global box office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salaar had made Rs 95 crore in India on its first day of release and is now nearing Rs 150 crore mark in India alone. Apart from India, the film has performed well in the United States as well leading it to be highest ever grossing Indian film of 2023. The Kannada origin film stars Prabhas in the lead role while Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist in the film and the story revolves around these two friends who turn into enemies because of political situations that arise in the fictional city of Khansaar.
