The official handle of the film tweeted that Salaar has crossed into the 500 crore club. Taking to X(formerly known as Twitter), @SalaarTheSaga shared a poster that read 500 crore Gross box office collection  worldwide. It captioned the post Deva repairing box office records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film also marks the biggest collaboration between Prashanth Neel and Prabhas, who came together for the first time to create the mega- action-packed cinematic spectacle. In the film, Prabhas plays the titular character of Salaar. The opening day figures of the film also surpassed Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s two blockbuster movies of 2023 \u2013 Pathaan and Jawan, which had earned Rs 106 crore and Rs 129.6 crore in worldwide gross on their opening days, and the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal which collected Rs 116 crore for the first day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sriya Reddy while talking to the media mentioned how she and director Prasanth Neel discussed her role. She expressed the director\u2019s confidence in her character and said Prashanth Neel had promised her that her role will stand out and he had kept his word. She said there were a lot of phone calls, meetings, look tests.
