In continuation with the current cold day phase over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan, The India Meteorological Department predicted the persistence of similar weather conditions for the next two days as well following a decrease thereafter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Predictions have been made on the presence of dense to very dense fog over northwest and East India during the next three days and gradually decrease thereafter. In Punjab, the dense fog is likely to persist in some parts till January 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Owing to foggy conditions prevailing in the national capital, 26 trains arriving in Delhi were delayed on Tuesday, according to the Indian railways. The Indian Meteorological Department forecasted for the next seven days, in Delhi the maximum temperature is expected to reach 19 degrees on January 7. The national capital is expected to have shallow fog and a clear sky for the next seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
