The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri, Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, is a sea bridge that will link Navi Mumbai and South Mumbai, cutting down on the two hours it currently takes to get there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bridge, spanning 21.8 km, was constructed at an expense exceeding Rs 17,840 million. Prime Minister Modi lay the bridge&#8217;s foundation stone in December 2016, and the last seven years have seen its construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By improving access to Navi Mumbai International Airport as well as Mumbai International Airport, the bridge will shorten the time it takes to get from Mumbai to Pune, Goa, and South India. Tractors, motorbikes, and autorickshaws will not be permitted on the sea bridge, and four-wheelers will need to stay under a speed limit of one hundred miles per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>40 km\/h is the maximum speed allowed on the bridge&#8217;s ascent and descent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A proposal to charge drivers utilising the MTHL a one-way toll of Rs 250 per trip was approved by the Maharashtra government on January 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a toll of Rs 375 for vehicles utilising the sea bridge for return trips. There will be daily and monthly passes available for Rs 12,500 and Rs 625, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bridge&#8217;s cutting-edge features include intelligent transport systems and automated toll collection.
