He said Congress leaders should not have been invited to the event in the first place. Sarma took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared a 2005 photograph of Rahul Gandhi at Babar Tomb in Afghanistan\u2019s Kabul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said Congress will bow to Babar and not Ram Lalla. The Assam chief minister said from Nehru to Rahul Gandhi, all of them went to Babar Tomb. Sarma also raised the topic of the re-construction of the Somnath temple. He said what Pandit Nehru did with Somnath temple, the Congress leadership did the same same thing with the Ram temple. The BJP attacked the opposition leaders who refused to attend the Ram temple consecration and called them anti anti-Sanatana. The Congress called the January 22 event a BJP\/RSS one planned for election gains and announced that Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury would not attend the event.
