She said a decision on attending it has not been taken yet because of certain party programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayawati said the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is a secular party and respects all religions. She added if in the future if any such programme is held regarding the Babri Masjid, then the BSP will not have any objection to that also. She said the Bahujan Samaj Party is the only party in India which is secular. She said she had not taken a decision on attending the programme because at the moment she is very busy with the party\u2019s programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, the Supreme Court in its verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi- Babri Masjid title suit had cleared the way for the temple to be built at the disputed plot of land in Ayodhya where the mosque stood before its demolition. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the January 22 Pran Pratishtha event, which is also expected to be attended by thousands of people, including seers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony holds significance as it marks the formal consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, following the Supreme Court\u2019s 2019 verdict on the Ram Janmabhoomi \u2013 Babri Masjid title suit. BSP chief Mayawati said the party will contest the 2024 national polls on its own, maintaining distance from communal, capitalist and casteist forces.
