Bhumi Pednekar took to social media on Thursday to share the teaser of Bhakshak. She captioned the teaser and wrote the story of one journalist who would stop at nothing to uncover the truth. Bhakshak is scheduled to be released on Netflix on 9^{th<\/sup> February 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n}

The film has been produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan\u2019s Red Chillies Entertainment. Netflix in a press release shared that the film is inspired by true events. In the teaser, the viewers see Bhumi Pednekar as Vaishali Singh, who is a fierce investigative journalist, on the quest to uncover a heinous crime, laying bare the ground reality of crimes against women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the intense topic of the film, the director said in a statement that their aim was to shed light on the harsh realities of the society and spark conversations that lead to meaningful change. He said he is looking forward to more people who will join this important dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
