Owaisi said Mahatma Gandhi never mentioned anything about Ram Mandir. He said very systematically, Babri Masjid has been taken away from Indian Muslims as they used to offer prayers there for over 500 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talking to the media in Karnataka\u2019s Kalaburagi, Owaisi added the temple did not exist during the formation of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and said had the Masjid not been demolished in 1992, the Indian Muslims wouldn\u2019t have to see things how they are today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Owaisi said Muslims offered namaz in Babri Masjid for 500 years. Owaisi said when Congress\u2019s GB Pant was the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, idols were placed inside the masjid. He said Nair was the collector of Ayodhya at that time. The AIMIM president said Nair shut the masjid and started worshiping over there. He said these leaders are busy pleasing the majority community and are not speaking anything about the minority community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIMIM President said Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that the Aam Aadmi Party will organize Sunderkand Paath and Hanuman Chalisa every Tuesday. He added nobody speaks about this as they are trying to get the votes of the majority community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier Owaisi had reffered to Aam Aadmi Party as RSS ka chota recharge. He said this decision was taken because of the inauguration of Ram Mandir on January 22.
