Fans of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the Gulf who were impatiently waiting the release of the movie Fighter have shocking news. According to producer and industry analyst Girish Johar, Fighter has not yet been allowed to be released in any of the Gulf countries except the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ban’s reason hasn’t been made public yet, however. In a blow, Fighter officially banned across Middle East regions for theatrical release, tweeted Girish. The PG15-rated film will only be released in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The news regarding the release of Fighter in Gulf countries, apart from the UAE, was also verified by a source close to the Fighter team. Regarding the same, the makers have not yet released an official statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although the Gulf countries’ censor board has not approved Fighter, the aerial action thriller will open in Indian theatres on January 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Siddharth Anand directorial film, which also stars Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, and Anil Kapoor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures has produced the film. It is presented as an homage to the bravery, selflessness, and nationalism of the Indian military personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the film, Deepika and Hrithik can be seen as Patty and Minni, the squadron leaders. As they give Pakistan and the terrorists a lesson, the two pilot combat jets and helicopters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fighter has a run time of 2 hours and 46 minutes. Additionally, the picture has received a U\/A classification from the Central Board of picture classification. The CBFC had requested two changes to the movie, one of which included sexually suggestive visuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Siddharth Anand said that he is not really concerned about how the CBFC’s requests would impede the flow of the story in Fighter in an exclusive interview. The director also said, in his films, everything is really organic. However, occasionally, you will see actions that you believe would best serve your movie at that particular moment.
