She said the people of the country have a fantastic chance to lead this nation to new heights. She noted the success of Chandrayaan and the Aditya L1 launch and commended the space scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Murmu said we also pay tribute to those who contributed to the creation of the Constitution today. She said the country will commemorate the Constitution&#8217;s inauguration tomorrow. She said the democratic system in India predates the idea of Western democracy by several centuries. India is referred to as the mother of democracy for this reason, she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Murmu said she thinks the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam will prove to be a ground-breaking instrument for the empowerment of women. It will also go a long way in improving the processes of our governance while taking note of the women&#8217;s quota in Parliament and state assemblies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Republic Day celebrations will be led by the President on Friday. During a 90-minute procession at the magnificent Kartavya Path, India will commemorate the momentous milestone with an impressive show of its growing military power and rich cultural legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The big events, with an underlying theme of reflecting the nation&#8217;s women power and democratic values&nbsp;will be graced by French President Emmanuel Macron as the chief guest.
