Heavy security was deployed outside the Bihar Raj Bhavan in Patna today, where the meeting of the JD(U) leaders was going on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislative party meeting was also underway at the state party office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, there was speculation that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar\u2019s Janata Dal (United) JDU party might break its alliance with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to form JD(U)-BJP government in Bihar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kumar has expressed dissatisfaction with the Opposition bloc INDIA for lack of a position in the alliance commensurate with his stature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BJP leader Sushil Modi said doors never permanently closed in politics amid talk of Kumar\u2019s return to the BJP-led fold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha spoke over Kumar\u2019s return to NDA. I request our CM Nitish Kumar to clear all the doubts by the evening today, he said. He is keeping a check on everything and only he can clear all the doubts, the RJD MP said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While speaking to a national news agency, the former Bihar CM and HAM leader Jitan Manjhi reminded what he recently said about Bihar politics. Manjhi predicted that there would be a change in Bihar after January 25 and the basis of this was Nitish Kumar\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has said many things against RJD. On this basis, we said that the alliance would not work, Manjhi said. Nitish Kumar\u2019s dream of becoming PM has been shattered, he added.
