Uttar Pradesh is a crucial member of the opposition INDIA group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yadav said on Saturday that his party\u2019s alliance with the Congress&nbsp;is off to a good start with 11 strong seats (to the Congress).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the winning equation, this tendency will continue. He wrote on X, the INDIA\u00a0team and the &#8216;PDA (backwards, Dalits, and minorities)&#8217; strategy will change history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Congress wanted 30 seats when the two parties started their negotiations on seat sharing, including the 21 seats that the traditional party had won in Uttar Pradesh in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections. People acquainted with the discussions, however, claim that the SP was unwilling to give the Congress more than 13 seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uttar Pradesh has 80 seats,&nbsp;the most Lok Sabha seats in the county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BJP and its ally Apna Dal (Sonelal) won 62 of the 80 seats in the state in the 2019 LokSabha elections.
