Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday demanded an apology from former Congress President Sonia Gandhi over her party\u2019s Lok Sabha MP DK Suresh demanding a separate nation comprising the southern states over alleged bias in budgetary allocations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joshi raised the issue during the Zero Hour in Parliament and said Congress member Suresh had demanded a separate nation comprising southern states. He said the remarks were an insult to the Constitution and to Babasaheb Ambedkar. Members of the opposition INDIA bloc, including the Congress and the DMK, were on their feet trying to counter him as Joshi made the statement in the House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
