He said the remarks were an insult to the Constitution and to Babasaheb Ambedkar. He said he thought they have boycotted the proceedings and signaled towards the empty opposition benches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lok Sabha Speaker added he had signalled them and they will be allowed to speak after laying the papers. Joshi said the Congress leadership should issue an apology and clarify whether they subscribed to the views of DK Suresh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the Congress tradition of dividing the country still persist. He said he demanded that Congress leader Sonia Gandhi should take action against the member and also provide a clarification whether the party supports the views of DK Suresh. Joshi said he hailed from a southern state, Karnataka, as does his ministerial colleague External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. He added neither of them felt as DK Suresh claimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DK Suresh represents Bangalore Rural constituency in the Lok Sabha. He had said that injustice was meted out to the southern states in the allocation of their share in tax collection, North India was getting more allocations from tax.
