The Yatra, which had been scheduled to move at 8 am, started at 10.30 am from Nabagram in Murshidabad district as the district administration asked the party to delay it owing to the exam which commenced during the day, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the Bahrampur MP, claimed the permission to hold the Yatra was refused in neighbouring Birbhum district, before it entered Pakur in Jharkhand later in the day, citing the examination. Chowdhury told the media that he did not understand what the problem was if they peacefully conducted the Yatra after the examinees entered the centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yatra started from Nabagram with a few vehicles as Gandhi rode a red SUV, with Congress supporters lining the road and some even gave him bouquets. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will be held as per schedule in the afternoon due to the board examination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the schedule, the Yatra will enter Pakur in Jharkhand, which will also include a flag handover ceremony at the border of the two states. Ramesh said the Yatra has received an overwhelming response from the people in the state.
