According to a source, during a recent ACC (Asian Cricket Council) meeting, CAN president Chatur Bhahadur visited BCCI secretary Jay Shah and asked him to New Delhi for a discussion. As a result, Mr. Bahadur and Mr. Shah met, and the secretary of the BCCI requested that he submit a written presentation outlining the assistance they anticipate from the BCCI. A CAN source said, “Mr. Shah has been very supportive of the promotion of cricket in Nepal.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nepalis have an incredible love for cricket, and the stadiums are always full when the national team plays. The National Capital Region (NCR)’s Greater Noida has served as a training ground for the war-torn Afghanistan national and U-19 teams for many years. In the coming years, the BCCI is poised to support the development of Nepal cricket, which will in turn promote goodwill between the neighbours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is acknowledged that Nepal cricket is in need of help in three areas right now.
