Shah took to X(formerly Twitter) and said holding various constitutional responsibilities like the office of Deputy Prime Minister, Advani\u2019s contribution for the integrity, unity and security of the country with strong leadership has been unprecedented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shah said he was extremely happy with the announcement of awarding Bharat Ratna to senior leader and former deputy Prime Minister of India, respected Shri Lal Krishna Advani. He said Advani had fought tirelessly for the issues related to the country, culture and people. He said Advani\u2019s contribution towards the party cannot be summed up in words. The Home Minister added PM Modi\u2019s decision to honour Advani with Bharat Ratna is also an honour for crores of Indians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Prime Minister has announced that Advani will be conferred Bharat Ratna. He spoke to Advani and congratulated him on being conferred this honour. PM Modi said LK Advani is one of the most respected statesmen of our times and his contribution to India\u2019s development is monumental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said Advani\u2019s life started working at the grassroots to serving the country as India\u2019s Deputy Prime Minister. PM Modi added Advani distinguished himself as India\u2019s home minister and I&amp;B Minister as well. He said Advani\u2019s Parliamentary interventions have always been exemplary and full of rich insights.
