The list includes the name Somnath Bharti (Chairman Delhi Jal Board), who will contest from New Delhi,&nbsp;Sahiram from South Delhi, Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi, and Kuldeep Kumar from East Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This &nbsp;announcement comes two days after the AAP and Congress finalised the seat-sharing agreement. Meanwhile, in the Lok Sabha elections, AAP\u2019 Sushil Gupta won the Kurkshetra Lok Sabha seat in Haryana.<br><br>The Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi will contest in the elections for New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, and East Delhi as part of the alliance between the Congress and AAP. In contrast, Chandni Chowk, North-East Delhi, and East Delhi are held by the Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Congress will also contest for both of the Goa seats in the elections. While in Gujarat, the AAP will field candidates for two seats and the Congress Party for 24 seats. Additionally, nine Haryana seats will be contested by Congress candidates, and the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat will be represented by an Aam Aadmi Party candidate. However, the two parties in Punjab will not form an alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the AAP, the Congress and the Samajwadi Party have agreed to share seats in Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in the country, with 80 representatives in the Lok Sabha. The SP and its supporters will compete for the remaining 63 seats, leaving the Grand Old Party to contest 17 of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi, the Congress head at the time, put out a similar seat-sharing scheme. However, the negotiations between the two parties&#8217; could not come to a conclusion, and hence it collapsed.
