Ajay Devgan and Shriya Saran, starring Drishyam, the cult franchise, is set to expand internationally following its enormous success in Indian and Chinese markets. The makers of the film have now revealed the new milestone for the franchise following the Korean adaptation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To make Drishyam in Hollywood, Panorama Studios has partnered with Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films. The romantic comedy Blended, which reunited Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore back together, was produced by Gulfstream Pictures, which Bill Bindley and Mike Karz co-founded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The international remake rights to the first and second installments of Drishyam have been acquired by Panorama Studios from Aashirvad Cinemas, the original producers. A production arrangement for a Spanish-language version of the popular film is currently being finalised, and it will soon be released in the US and Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chairman and Managing Director of Panorama Studios, Kumar Mangat Pathak, who has acquired the rights to the franchise, expressed his thoughts in a press release, saying, they are excited to celebrate this story with audiences worldwide because Drishyam’s clever narrative has a universal appeal. They are thrilled to be working together with JOAT Films and Gulfstream Pictures to adapt this story into English for the Hollywood market. The release also said that their goal is to develop Drishyam in 10 countries over the next three to five years, after Korea and Hollywood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gulfstream Pictures’ Bill Bindley and Mike Karz jointly released the following statement, saying they are thrilled to be working with Panorama Studios and JOAT Films on an English-language adaptation of Drishyam.
