He will play with his Ranji Trophy team, Tamil Nadu, as they take on Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy semi-final on March 2, 2024. If necessary, he would join the India team for the fifth Test when the domestic match is over, the statement continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the BCCI announced that standout pacer Mohammed Shami, who had surgery on Monday, will shortly report to Bengaluru&#8217;s National Cricket Academy (NCA) to begin his recuperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, India\u2019s young batter, Devdutt Padikkal, is named as the replacement for KL Rahul in the middle order. This will also be his debut match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India defeated England at Ranchi by 5 wickets, and they went on to win the 5-match series 3-1. One of the most intriguing tests to date was the Ranchi Test, in which both teams competed on a wicket that was unpredictable and gave spinners an added advantage.
