The explosion happened at the cafe&#8217;s Whitefield branch in Rajajinagar at around 1 p.m.<br><br>The precise number of injuries was not immediately known, but according to authorities, at least nine people have been taken to the hospital. Three employees and one customer were reportedly among the injured.<br><br>There were no ambulances, and the injured were transported to hospital in autorickshaws, according to eyewitnesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah \u00a0verified that a bomb blast went off at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. Sources said that the CM was informed by the police that an IED was the cause of the explosion. The police said an IED-containing bag was found inside the cafe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">National Investigation Agency (NIA) is to visit the Bengaluru explosion site as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The sources said that there were no other IEDs discovered on the premises; there was only one bag with an IED.<br><br>The individual who put the bag inside the cafe, according to Siddarmaiah, stole a token from the cash register. He said they are questioning the cashier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siddaramaiah also said that all those who were injured are safe now and are under medical observation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Images taken from the scene showed a number of people outside the cafe, along with police and fire officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Whitefield fire station said in a statement that they received a call that a cylinder blast occurred in the Rameshawaram cafe. They reached the spot and started their investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the investigation began, police officials checked whether there was any gas pipeline near a wash basin where the blast occurred. They have so far ruled out the possibility that it&#8217;s a cylinder blast.
