According to reports the film earned less than Rs 2 crore on its 3<sup>rd<\/sup> day. The film has been presented by Jio Studios and has been produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Kiran Rao\u2019s Kindling Productions. The story of Laapataa Ladies revolves around two brides in rural India who accidentally get swapped during a train journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The film is set in fictional state of Nirmal Pradesh. It is the story of Phool and Pushpa, who accidently get swapped on a train. One bride is taken away home by the groom, while the other is left stranded at a railway station. She said goodness resides within everyone and one has to partake and stand up for the right thing in whatever situation they are in.
