People should also remain cautious, Mayawati said in Hindi on the social media platform, X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mayawati, the chief of the BSP, has also stated that opposing parties are trying to mislead people in Uttar Pradesh by spreading rumours on a daily basis. This is due to the BSP&#8217;s considerable strength in fighting elections alone. However, Mayawati has confirmed that the BSP&#8217;s decision to contest the elections alone remains firm, as it is in the interest of the Bahujan society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month, Mayawati dismissed rumours of forming a coalition as efforts were being made by several leaders to include the BSP in the India Bloc. Avinash Pande, Congress&#8217; Uttar Pradesh in-charge, had said that the doors of the India Bloc were open for the BSP to join the united fight against the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier on February 25, BSP MP Ritesh Pandey on Sunday resigned from the party and joined BJP.&nbsp;He was one of the eight MPs who was surprised by PM Modi for the lunch in the Parliament canteen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pandey claimed that his party does not need him any more as he has not been called for any meetings for a long time.
