Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched ten new Vande Bharat trains via a video conference, two of which were from Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the inaugeration and laying foundation stone for multiple railway projects in Ahmedabad, Modi said that political selfishness was given priority by governments that came after independence, and the Indian Railways is a major victim of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The PM said he wanted to tell teh youth that today’s inaugurations are for their present. Your bright future is guaranteed by the foundation stone laying ceremony that took place today, he said.
After independence, political self-interest took precedence in the administrations that followed. One of the main victims of that is the Indian Railways. PM Modi said his first action was to add railroads to the government’s budget. As a result, government money is currently being utilized to build the railways.
Two of the ten additional trains are from Vishakhapatnam, bringing the total number of Vande Bharat trains that depart from the Andhra Pradesh city to three.
Between Puri and Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, the new trains will run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Divisional Railway Manager Sourabh Prasad said, they have two trains which will touch Visakhapatnam. There are two types of Vande Bharat Express routes: Puri-Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam. The Puri-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to commence virtually at 9:00 am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that the two new trains would be flagged off with an inaugural ceremony at the Visakhapatnam station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A lot of other projects will also be dedicated to the nation by the Prime Minister, including the ‘One Station, One Product’ (OSOP) stalls, Prasad said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Union Ministry of Railways introduced the OSOP programme to support the Centre’s vocal for local initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are now 41 Vande Bharat trains running throughout the Indian Railways network since the Prime Minister launched the first one from Delhi to Varanasi in 2010.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
