The actor was admitted to the hospital after claiming to be out of breath, and it was said that he needed to undergo a heart surgery.<br><br>As per the report, Amitabh became ill and was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. According to the portal, he underwent through an angioplasty. He went to the hospital for a general health checkup since he was uncomfortable while attending events, the doctors then advised him to have the operation so he was brought to the hospital today, as per the report. It is said that the actor is feeling better now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amid\u00a0these health-related reports, Amitabh posted on X on Friday, saying, T 4950 &#8211; in gratitude ever. A video promoting his Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) squad was also posted by him. He posted photos of himself with Akshay Kumar on his blog in January, captioning them, Akshay, one of the owners (of ISPL)..and an explanation to him about the surgery on his hand. He was seen wearing a sling at his wrist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The actor sustained a back injury while shooting for Kalki 2898 AD in Hyderabad in March of last year. As a result, the actor had to recuperate in bed. At that time, he had strained rib cartilage and a torn muscle. Due to medical limitations, Amitabh was unable to attend the San Diego Comic Con last year in order to promote the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amitabh recently revealed on his blog that he had recently shot<em> Kalki 2898 AD<\/em> for Nag Ashwin. The <em>Don<\/em> actor said, late nights again but as <em>Kalki\u00a0<\/em> nears completion and as has been informed, the release date is May 9th, he added.
