He also blamed Captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid for team India\u2019s 6 wicket defeat. India had reached the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup with an unbeaten run, having won 10 matches in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After having been asked to bat first in the final at the Narendra Modi stadium on November 19, 2023, a majority of Indian batsmen failed miserably as they were dismissed for 240. Kaif said he was there for 3 days. Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid inpected the pitch everyday for 3 days ahead of the Word Cup final. He said many people say that curaters do their own thing and they are not influenced. He said this is all rubbish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said when the players are moving around the pitch every day, they don\u2019t have to do anything but to utter just two lines- Please don\u2019t put water, just reduce the glass. He said this happens and it is the truth. He said but the Indian team took a little bit too much advantage of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Travis Head (137) and Marnus Labuschagne (58*) helped Australia chase down the target with 7 overs to spare to clinch the title for the 6<sup>th<\/sup> time.
