YouTuber and Big Boss OTT winner and Elvish Yadav has confesses today to the police that he ordered snakes and snake venom for the rave parties, according to the sources.
The 26-year-old YouTuber further admitted that, during a party in Noida in November of last year, he had met every accused person who had been taken into custody by the police in relation to the usage of snake venom as a recreational drug.
Yadav was taken into custody by the Noida Police earlier on Sunday, March 17, as part of their investigation. He was later brought before a judge, who sentenced him to 14 days in judicial custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notably, a FIR filed at Noida’s Sector 49 police station mentioned Yadav among its six suspects. The other five accused, who were recognised as snake charmers, were taken into custody in November but are now out on bail.
Police said that the complaint was filed under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972, Indian Penal Code sections 120B (participant in criminal conspiracy), 284 (negligent conduct with poison that endangers human safety), and 289 (negligent conduct concerning animals).
The case was further improved with charges under the severe section 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The forensic findings from earlier verified that the party’s samples contained snake venom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is also said that Elvish Yadav used snakes during his video shoots. According to the officials, he had earlier admitted to the police that Bollywood singer Fazilpuria was responsible for the snakes in his video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An NGO filed a complaint when one of its members set a trap and called Yadav regarding snake venom, which prompted the raid. According to authorities, the NGO member was provided with a phone number that directed him to the five suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
