Speaking to the media ahead of IPL 2024, Sidhu felt the ability to adapt to 3 formats makes Kohli the best-ever Indian batsman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sidhu felt Kohli\u2019s fitness and longevity put him in a class of his own among the greats. He said there are eras where he would put his transistor and listen to Sunil Gavaskar bat against the West Indies, those are the 70s. He said Gavaskar dominated for almost 15-20 years. He said Dhoni is fit but he termed Virat Kohli as super-fit. He said this held Kohli in good stead. He said the longevity factor gives Virat Kohli a plus factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kohli has scored 26000 runs with 80 centuries across all formats in his international career. The star Indian batsman also boasts a remarkable batting average of over 49 in all 3 formats. Navjot Sidhu felt Virat Kohli\u2019s batting position for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2024 should depend on the team\u2019s demands more than anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from his incredible numbers for India. Kohli is also IPL\u2019s all time leading run scorer with 7263 runs in 237 games.
