[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Indian National Congress (INC) today, November 18 released its third list of 18 candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly elections which is scheduled for December 7.<\/p>\n
The party has fielded Amit Chachan from Lohar, BD Kalla from Bikaner west in place of Yashpal Gehlot, who will be contesting from Bikaner East in place of Kanhaiyalal Jhawar, Subhash Meel from Khandela and Dr Karan Singh Yadav from Kishangarh Bas.<\/p>\n
Out of these 18 seats, Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) will contest on two seats each, while the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will contest on one seat.<\/p>\n
Congress party in its first list released 152 names, 32 names in the second and with the third one, the party so far has declared 192 names out of 200 constituent seats.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, the Congress party had released its second list of 32 candidates. According to the second list, Congress has fielded former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jaswant Singh’s son Manvendra Singh against Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje from Jhalrapatan Assembly seat.<\/p>\n
The last date for filing of nominations is November 19 and scrutiny of nominations will be on November 20, 2018. Last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 22.<\/p>\n
The state will go to polls on December 7 along with the four other states- Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram.<\/p>\n
There are 34 SC and 25 ST seats out of the total 200 seats in Rajasthan Assembly.<\/p>\n
