AIADMK leader Rajendran breathed his life at the age of 62. Rajendran, who represented Villupuram parliamentary constituency, was on his way to Tindivanam in the district with his driver when his car hit a divider, a senior police official told NDTV.<\/p>\n

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami expressed his sorrow over the demise of AIADMK leader and said \u201cMr Rajendran’s death is a great loss for the party and the people of Viluppuram.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rajendran was a graduate from the University of Madras with a Bachelors degree in Tamil Literature. After being elected into the House, he served as a member of the Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilizers and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Civil Aviation.<\/p>\n
