[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A couple was arrested on Thursday for allegedly dragging a traffic police officer on the bonnet of their car, a silver Honda City, after they were asked to stop for violating traffic rules.\u00a0 According to the cops, the couple also assaulted the other police officers and two journalists when they tried to intervene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The incident took place at 9:45 AM at Vatika Chowk, Sohna Road.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe constable came in front of the car and signaled the driver to pull over. The driver stopped the car, after which the two sitting in the rear seat stepped out. The woman took control of the wheel and her husband sat on the passenger seat, and they accelerated in a bid to escape. The couple started abusing me and threatened that if I ever tried to stop their car, they will kill me.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Police have identified the couple \u2013 the 28-year-old lady, a chartered accountant and her husband, 32, an engineer. They are residents of Sector 90.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Two journalists from a local news channel noticed the incident and one started recording the incident. When the lady noticed it, she snatched his camera and assaulted him, police said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Since there was a lot of commotion in the area, it attracted a lot of attention. The incident was caught by a few onlookers on video. Several videos of the alleged incident were shared on social media on Thursday. In one of the clip, the woman was seen assaulting the traffic officials and two journalists as other officers try to control them.<\/span><\/p>\n
