[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The counting of votes has begun in the states of Maharashtra and Haryana and the voters are eagerly waiting for the result and want to know who will be their new CM or if it remains the same.

According to trends, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is leading in the Karnal Assembly constituency, reports said.

Sportsperson Babita Phogat, the BJP candidate from Haryana’s Dadri constituency, is leading in the seat according to early trends.

The BJP candidate in Haryana’s Gurugram Assembly constituency Sudhir Singla is leading.

Senior Congress leader and spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala is leading in his Assembly constituency of Kaithal, according to early trends.

Early trends in Haryana are depicting a close competition between Congress and BJP. While the Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in 11 seats, the Congress is maintaining momentum in 7.

Haryana Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu was trailing from his Narnaund constituency in Hisar district to Jannnayak Janta Party candidate, as per early trends.

Despite exit polls’ predicting a landslide victory for the ruling BJP in the Haryana Assembly elections, for which counting will begin at 8 am, Haryana Congress president Kumari Selja on Tuesday insisted that her party will form the next government in the state.

“I can say this with confidence that the Congress party is going to form the next government in Haryana,” she said, adding her party will win more than 45 of the 90 assembly seats. When asked what makes her so confident, Selja said her assessment is “based on the feedback” she received from candidates throughout the state.

“And also the way the BJP has run this (poll) campaign, refusing to focus on issues relating to the people of Haryana; somewhere there is an admission of their own failures and I think the people have sensed that,” she added

Maharashtra

The BJP-Shiv Sena combine has taken a comfortable lead in Maharashtra, where it leads in 177 seats in the 288-member Assembly. The Congress-NCP alliance leads in 87 seats in Maharashtra. Other candidates lead in 14 seats.

The BJP and the Shiv Sena are leading in a big way ahead of the Congress-NCP combine in Maharashtra. The BJP is leading in 107 seats, while the Sena is up in 70 at the moment. Following a lot of turbulance in their alliance over the last five years, the parties are likely to return to power for another term. It’s clear that Fadnavis will remain Chief Minister, but it is yet to be seen what role Aaditya Thackeray — he currently leads from Worli — will play in the government. In 2014, BJP had won 122 seats and Sena 63.
