Sule was also seen greeting outgoing Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis with a smile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As drawing equivalence with Chanakya in Indian politics shifted from Amit Shah in favour of Sharad Pawar, the latter was being hailed on social media for getting his nephew clean of the corruption charges and cleverly driving the alliance towards the majority.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The newly appointed pro-tem speaker Kalidas Kolambkar administering the oath to 288 newly elected members in Maharashtra assembly today. This was followed by rebel NCP leader Ajit Pawar resigning as the Deputy Chief Minister from the Fadnavis government. His resignation forced Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to quit on the same day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The political void created after the two resignations paved way for the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (an alliance of NCP, Shiv Sena, and Congress) to stake the claim to form the government. Later late in the evening, the three parties met Governor BS Koshyari to offer him a letter of support of 166 MLAs, much above the required majority mark of 145.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Almost after decades, Shiv Sena will be leading the government in the state.
