Lok Sabha MP and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) supremo Asaduddin Owaisi, who was also present at the event condemned the incident, and clarified his stance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c I condemn this statement. Asaduddin Owaisi and two organisers, stopped her from raising slogans. The police later intervened and escorted Amulya from the stage.<\/p>\n<p>Soon after the incident, Amulya was arrested by Bengaluru Police.<\/p>\n<p>A sedition case has also been filed against her by the Police. &#8220;We have filed a suo moto case against her under sections 124A(sedition), 153A and B (promoting enmity between different groups) and imputations, assertions prejudicial to national integration),&#8221; senior police officer B Ramesh said.<\/p>\n<p>Amulya&#8217;s bail has been denied, and she has&nbsp; been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. The President\u2019s assent was followed by agitations across the country.
