As the second leg of the budget session began today, proceedings in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha have been adjourned until Tuesday after the entire opposition protested over the issue of communal riots in Delhi which took place last week.<\/p>\n

4:30 pm: <\/strong>The Lok Sabha stands adjourned till 11 am tomorrow. Speaker Om Birla says, “I am very upset at what happened in House. In such circumstances, I cannot conduct the House. The House is adjourned till tomorrow. Both sides are blaming each other.”<\/p>\n

3:05 pm: <\/strong>Lok Sabha is adjourned till 4pm today after resuming proceedings briefly.<\/p>\n

2:40 pm: <\/strong>Rajya Sabha adjourned for the day as ruckus continued over discussion on recent Delhi riots.<\/p>\n

2:30 pm: <\/strong>“I strongly condemn the manner in which the opposition is behaving. There should be peace and normalcy in the House,” said BJP MP Prahlad Joshi.<\/p>\n

2:20 pm: <\/strong>Speaker Om Birla has refused to allocate time for discussing the Delhi riots, which ravaged Northeast Delhi last week, in the Lok Sabha.<\/p>\n
