She had tweeted against the farmers who were protesting against the controversial farm laws passed by the government on September 20. The development comes after the Karnataka court on Friday directed the Police to register a first information report against actor Kangana Ranaut for her tweet on the farmer\u2019s agitations against the new farmer laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking an action on the complaint filed by a lawyer L Ramesh Naik, the Judicial Magistrate First Class court directed the police to register an FIR against Kangana Ranaut who compared the protesting farmers to terrorists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Karnataka Police booked Kangana under the charges of promotion of enmity between groups, intentional insult, grave provocation and other sections of Indian Penal Code. The Petitioner Naik has said actor\u2019s tweet had hurt the sentiment of the people and prompted them to file a case against <a href=\"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/topic\/kangana-ranaut\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/topic\/kangana-ranaut\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kangana Ranaut<\/a>. Some Opposition Members of Parliament claimed that the legislations would prove to be the death warrant for the agricultural sector.
