The road to Yamuna Bank metro station was closed due to rise in water level of Yamuna.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged the central government to intervene and ascertain that the water released from Haryana’s Hathnikund barrage is slowed.
Earlier on Monday, an orange alert was sounded for flood after the water level of Yamuna was recorded at 206.04mm at 11 pm.
According to reports, the water level in Yamuna is likely to exceed the danger mark of 205.33 meters by Tuesday.
