The much-awaited film, Thank God, has been released today in theatres. The Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer is earning mixed reactions from the audience. What grabbed people’s attention was Kamal R Khan’s review.
KRK, the self-acclaimed critic, doesn’t shy away from calling a spade a spade. He never misses a chance to take a dig at Bollywood films and celebs. This time it’s Indra Kumar’s Thank God.
KRK called the social comedy film outdated, slow, boring, and a waste of money. Not only this, he even called Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s acting unbearable. He gave the film a one-star rating and called it mental torture.
KRK also stated that the film Thank God is an exact copy of the Norwegian film Sorte Kugler.
Earlier, KRK took to Twitter and wrote, There is a famous saying that Annihilation is the opposite of black intellect! Tickets for Ajay Devgn’s film Thank God are being available in current booking and people are not buying, but Ajay believes that people will buy tickets in advance today for his film Drishyam, which is slated to be released next month. Along with this, KRK also dropped a laughing emoji.
Sidharth Malhotra’s performance in the film is highly praised on Twitter. With Sidharth making his debut in the comedy genre, his fans seem to have loved it. A few others are not convinced by the storyline and are referring to it as a family film and a one-time watch.
Thank God film revolves around a self-centered and egotistical real estate broker in huge debts, who meets with an accident. As he gains consciousness, he realizes that he is in heaven. Chitragupta appears in front of him and informs him that he will have to play a Game Of Life. If he manages to win, he will be sent back to earth and if he loses, he will be sent to hell.
