The fun-filled trailer of the most-awaited film Modi Ji Ki Beti is out. Directed by Eddy Singh, the film revolves around the story of an upcoming actor Avani Modi who becomes the victim of media controversy and comes under the limelight as PM Modiji’s daughter. Two stupid terrorists Bilaal and Tausif try to prove their capability, believing in this fake news and making a master plan of kidnapping MODI JI KI BETI and bringing her to Pakistan expecting Kashmir as a dowry.

The trailer was launched with much fanfare at PVR Icon in Mumbai. Apart from the trailer, a few songs from the film were also shown during the event. Along with Avani Modi, the comedy-drama will also see Pitobash Tripathy as Bilal, Vikram Kochhar as Tauseef, and Tarun Khanna as Omar.

So far, the trailer has garnered over 3 lakh views. The trailer is highly appreciated by the viewers, and it’s definitely a meme fest for Twitter users.

Talking about the film, Avani said, the media is the one who made me Modi Ji Ki Beti. I want to thank them, she said. Modi Ji Ki Beti is very special to me. You’ll enjoy the film and it also serves a great message. This film is for India it has no connection with politics, she added.

During a trailer launch, Eddy Singh said, Modi Ji Ki Beti is a total fun film and a joy ride, and we are trying to give good entertaining films. After Covid, we need something light to release our stress, he added.

Produced by Arpit Garg, the film will be released on October 14 in the theatres.

His clarification came after his name had been circulating in discussions about possible contestants for Bigg Boss 20.

Batwara 1947 has had a disappointing run at the box office, and actor Shabana Azmi has now shared her thoughts on why the film may not have connected with audiences. According to Azmi, one possible reason could be the difficulty some viewers had in accepting Sunny Deol as a Muslim character.

The film, which also features Preity Zinta and Shabana Azmi, was released on August 14. It has reportedly earned around Rs 53 crore so far, while Awarapan 2, which released on the same day, has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark.

Azmi also suggested that there may have been confusion among some viewers about Sunny Deol’s character in Batwara 1947. She said that even some people who had watched the film believed Deol was playing a Pakistani character, whereas, according to her, he plays an Indian Muslim.
